Sibel Atig is a London based designer. She completed a Foundation Diploma at West London College and Fashion BA (Hons) Diploma at Ravensbourne.
Throughout her university courses, she undertook two design internships internationally. One of her internships, she worked for Vural Gokcayli who is one of the best representatives of the Haute-Couture in Turkey. She took his previous designs to give them a more contemporary feeling. She undertook a wide variety of work experience, including positions at Osman Yousefzada, Fannie Schiavoni and Victoria Beckham. She had a chance to work on both production and design side which has given her a strong understanding of the fashion industry. She experienced in the creative process as well as getting involved with a variety of projects which go towards producing the collection.
Sibel had showcase her collection a couple of times and had nominations. Her collection has been chosen to London Graduate Fashion Week and shortlisted for Gala Show. She had a chance to collaborate with Cult of Fashion for a catwalk show at NEC, Birmingham. Also, she’s been nominated for Apolda European Design Award that sees two students from various countries of the best design schools in Europe to present their work. Last but not least, she has collaborated with Jardin-Du-Beton for Cake-Mag, he has taken pictures of her collection in 2018.
